Here is an explanation of how your grade is calculated: Think of the course as a total of 100 points.

YOUR COURSE PERCENTAGE = YOUR TOTAL

This is the percentage that I look for on the grade scale to give you your grade.

TEST PREP If you miss one test prep day, you still received full test prep credit. Missing more than this, will lose you points in increments of 0.25.

HOMEWORK For your final homework score, we eliminate the lowest scores.

YOUR HOMEWORK PERCENTAGE = (HIGHEST 6 HOMEWORK SCORES) / 90 * 100 PERCENT

ACTIVITIES For your final activity score, we eliminate the lowest scores.

YOUR ACTIVITIES PERCENTAGE = (HIGHEST 6 HOMEWORK SCORES) / 120 * 100 PERCENT

EXAM The first and second exams are each weighted as 23 points (see your syllabus).

YOUR EXAM PERCENTAGE = (YOUR EXAM SCORE) / 50 * 100 PERCENT

FINAL EXAM The final exam is weighted at 32 points (see your syllabus).

YOUR FINAL EXAM PERCENTAGE = (YOUR EXAM SCORE) PERCENT
