Homework for Math 112 B - Spring 2007

The information on this page is subject to change. Changes will be announced in lecture or quiz section.
Homework is due at the beginning of lecture on Fridays as indicated in the course calendar.

GRADING
I will randomly select 3 problems to be graded. Each of these will be scored out of 3. The grader will also give a completeness/presentation score out of 6 points. The total out of 15 will be given. I have done my best to make these assignments manageable while at the same time making sure that the problems help convey and teach the basic concepts of the course. It is vital that you take the homework seriously.

POLICIES
Sloppy, hard to follow, or incomplete homework is unacceptable and you will be marked down severely. You will be graded on presentation as well as correctness. A correct answer with no explanation or supporting work is worth zero points. Even if you can do a problem in your head, I want you to give some sort of explanation or justification for what you did.

Unless otherwise indicated, you are expected to turn in complete solutions to ALL Exercises contained in the assigned Worksheet and to ALL Problems at the end of the Worksheet. In addition, you need to tear out and complete the graphs and tables from the back of the book which correspond to the worksheets due.
