- Although all homework scores will be listed below, I have dropped the lowest homework score in the computation of your grade.
- I have been very leanient. The curved median is 2.9! In addition, 1/4th of the class is above a 3.4 and above 10 percent of the class got a 4.0. Also, 77% of the class had their grade move up or stay the same after the final. These are all indications that I was more than fair in making the final grade distribution. Note that if your final exam score was signicantly lower than you midterm exam scores, then you shouldn't be suprised if your grade went down a bit.
- I have carefully reviewed all your scores. I was able to make a clear and large distinction between people above a 2.0 (and moving on into Math 126) and below a 2.0.
- I will not respond to complaints or questions about your grade. If you wish to speak to me, you will need to wait until my office hours next quarter. In any case, nothing you can say or do will change your grade.
