SPECIAL INFO ON (TEAM) HOMEWORK and Homework Teams for Math300B, Math300C. People will get added to teams as students drop the classes and other students get in, so your team might get changed slightly by next Monday. To contact your team members, try the UW directory or--if the directory fails--the Catalyst Discussion Board for Math 300.

HOMEWORKS

Grading Policy: Based on Homework (30%), Midterm (30%), and Final (40%).

Exams: Unless you have a compelling and well-documented reason to miss an exam (see the Outline for more), there will be NO MAKEUP EXAMS. Also, NO OUTSIDE MATERIALS will be permitted in any of the exams.

Midterm ----- Wednesday, OCTOBER 30 (during class time)

Final:
- Math 300B ----- Thursday, DECEMBER 12, 8:30am-10:20am, DEN 302 (the regular classroom)
- Math 300C ----- Monday, DECEMBER 9, 2:30-4:20pm, DEN 315 (the regular classroom)

Special Office Hours: I will be holding extra office hours during the midterm week as well as the last week of classes, time to be determined by poll.

Homework: The special feature of this class is that the graded part of the homework is done as a team. Each one of you has been assigned to a team of 3 or 4 (see the Teams for Math300B or Math300C). Click here for the rules and suggestions on doing your homework in a team.
