Math 308L

This is the course website for Math 308L, Fall 2012. The class meets in LOW 205, on MWF at 3:30-4:20pm.

I am James Pfeiffer, a graduate student here in math. My email is jpfeiff@math.washington.edu. Office hours will be in Padelford C-wing, 1st floor math lounge, Weds at 1:30-2:30 and Thurs at 3-4pm.

There will be a midterm and final, as well as homework and occasional quizzes. The grading will be roughly 60% exams, 40% homework. The final will be on Thursday, December 13, 2:30-4:30pm, in our regular classroom LOW 205. The midterm will be during class on Wednesday, Nov 7. Let me know during the first week of class if you cannot come to either of these; you may need to switch sections.

This is a first course in linear algebra. We will follow the departmental syllabus here reasonably closely.
