End Of Quarter

Final Exam Stats: Top Quarter: 93/100, Median: 87.5/100, Low Quarter: 73/100

Grades are now posted in the class Gradebook

PLEASE READ THIS CAREFULLY BEFORE EMAILING ANY QUESTIONS:
1) ALL your scores are posted, including the lowest homework, activity, and participation scores, which were NOT included in your Total Score computation. (The drop happens in the computation, not by erasing the score from grade sheet.)
Yes, I did drop your lowest score. Really.
2) Any blanks you see correspond to excused scores. These were not included in the computation either.
3) There was no rounding up of the total scores. For example, 73.77% counts as 73%.
The class stats were very high, so the conversion of % to grade point was according to the posted Grading Scale.
There were very few adjustments from this conversion scheme.

If you'd like to pick up your final exam:
1) I'll be in my office 1:00-1:30pm on Wed  06/15, or by appointment Thu 06/16.
I might also be available by appointment later in the summer. Email me your free times for a few days and I'll try to find a time that works.

2) Or, you can pick it up during Fall Quarter at any of my office hours (at the end of September, you'll be able to click here, then follow the links under "current teaching (Fall 2011)" to see my office hours. )

Have a good summer!
