Midterm Exam Information for Math 125 C and D
(Spring 2010)
- A proficiency quiz will be given on Tuesday, March 30, 2010 in
TA's section. The purpose is to give you a self assessment and it will not
be graded.
- The first midterm exam will be given on Thursday, April 22, 2010 in
TA's section. It covers sections 4.9 to 6.3 in the textbook:
Calculus by James Stewart.
To facilitate your preparation for midterm Exam 1,
I will hold extended office hour on Wednesday, April 21, 2010
from 4-5:20 pm. at MSC.
You may use one sheet (two-sided) of notes
and a basic scientific calculator. You can not share notes
during the exam and
no graphing calculator is allowed.
Other notes or books are not allowed.
- The second midterm exam will be given on Thursday, May 20, 2010 in
TA's section. It covers sections 6.4 to 8.1 in the textbook:
Calculus,
by James Stewart.
(In Tuesday's quiz session, you will do worksheet for week 8.)
To facilitate your preparation for midterm Exam II,
I will hold extended office hour on Wednesday, May 19, 2010
from 4-5:20 pm. at MSC.
You may use one sheet (two-sided) of notes
and a basic scientific calculator. You can not share notes
during the exam and
no graphing calculator is allowed.
Other notes or books are not allowed.
You can use the integral formulas on p.506 of the textbook
directly. You have to show your work if you use any other
integral formulas.
The final exam will be given on Saturday, June 5, 2010
from 1:30 pm until 4:20 pm at Kane Hall 220.
