Math 597: Seminar on Teaching Math

This seminar is a program that pairs advanced graduate students (the Interns) with faculty members (the Advisers) to help graduate students to prepare and teach an undergraduate mathematics course.  The Adviser and Intern establish their own one or two quarter program to do this.  For example: This list is not exhaustive, and the details are to be determined by each Adviser/Intern pair.

Graduate students are expected to enroll in Math 597 the first two times they teach their own sections of courses they have not taught before; they may optionally enroll a third time as well.  Among the possible advantages to the Intern:
