What they do:
- Evan got a job through TFA and is now a science teacher at one of the poorest schools in Arkansas. It's in an extremely rural community in a county that has a population density of only 12 people per square mile. He teachs chemistry, physics, astronomy and anatomy/physiology.
Math on the job:
- Evan's background in math allows him to better explain some of the mechanics behind high school science.
Student's background:
- Received Bachelor of Science in ACMS Enigineering and Physical Sciences Option in Spring 2012
Advice for students:
- Actually do your homework to learn, rather than get a grade. You could get a pretty decent homework grade if you find all your assignment's answers online, but you'll get a dreadful overall grade.
