- Nuo is a software development engineer in a well-established internet startup in Seattle. He is responsible for developing software for the company's major products and services.
Nuo's background:
- Nuo received his Bachelor of Science in ACMS-DMA in Winter, 2009 .
- He has always been a technology lover. He had a clear goal to be a software engineer when he entered UW. Math plays an important role in the foundations of computer science. The ACMS-DMA degree program has the best mix of classes in math, statistics and computer science, which prepared him well to become a software engineer.
Advice for students:
- If you are a student who wants to be a software engineer and wants to have a solid foundation in math and computer science, then ACMS is a great choice. Take all of the major classes seriously as they will be useful to you in the future when applying for jobs.
