research opportunities

A VIGRE Grant from the National Science Foundation provides funding for

• ACMS Graduate Fellowships. These provide full-time support for up to 3 years and are awarded by the departments involved.

• Graduate Internship Stipends. For graduate students interested in working off-campus or on an interdisciplinary research project during the summer or for one quarter during the year.

• Undergraduate Internship/Research Stipends. For undergraduate students working on research projects with faculty members. In certain cases these funds may be used to support undergraduates working off campus.

Other source of funding:

• The Undergraduate Research Program and the Mary Gates Endowment for Students.
