After a quick biographical sketch, I will give an overview of my work environment at Boeing. The wide spectrum of work in general and my own project involvement over the last 28 years is interspersed with short, specific examples of mathematical/statistical nature and it closes with a more detailed view of what went into the International Space Station wall design which addressed the risk of penetration by meteoroids and/or space debris.
