Short Biography of Peter Winkler

Peter Winkler is author of more than 125 research papers and the holder of eight patents. Winkler studied Mathematics at Harvard University and received his Ph.D. in from Yale University. His research areas include discrete mathematics, theory of computation and probability theory. He has also published two books on mathematical puzzles. He is currently the Albert Bradley Third Century Professor in the Sciences at Dartmouth College.
