Research
I am interested in modeling, in particular robust statistical modeling and
constrained estimation of nonlinear dynamic systems. From an optimization
standpoint, my work includes design and application of interior point methods and
extensions of least squares methods to fitting nonlinear models. On the applications side,
I am interested in Kalman filtering and smoothing (control theory), and bundle
adjustment (computer vision).
