Announcements:
- Announced 3/15/2006: The final grades have been posted at the right of the page. I "curved" the final so that all of you have a higher grade than you would have had on the original grade scale. The course median grade is above a 2.9.
- Announced 3/9/2006: The current grades have been posted at the right of the page. This includes everything except your final exam score.
The final exam is worth 36% of your grade. So it can make a major change in your grade, either for the better or worse.
- Announced 3/5/2006: The FINAL EXAM is 1:30 - 4:20 pm on Saturday, March 11 in KANE 220. On Friday, I gave the incorrect time in class. Please note the correct time.
- Announced 2/28/2006: The current grades have been posted at the right of the page. Please inform me and your TA of any errors in our records as soon as possible.
- Announced 2/26/2006: Exam 2 Solutions for both versions can be found at the right of this page. If you have questions about the grading, please look at the solutions first. If your still not satisfy, please bring me (Dr. Loveless) your exam within the next week with a short explanation of why you believe you deserve more points.
- Announced 2/22/2006: Please note that the solutions for my old Exam 2 do not match the archive exactly (the numbers are changed). You should use this as an opportunity to study for the exam. Try to follow the same techniques in my solutions to help you solve the problems on the posted practice exam.
- Announced 2/20/2006: Exam 2 is Thursday, February 23 in quiz section. The exam covers Chapters 9 - 17. I have posted a review sheet 2 (pdf) at the right of the page. As always, you can also find old Math 120 Exams at the Math 120 materials website. The solutions for my exam 2 can be found here.
- Announced 1/31/2006: The current grades are posted. Please check that the listed scores match your records. If you have questions about how the grade is computed, please read the explanation that accompanies the grade page.
- Announced 1/30/2006: Exam 1 Solutions for both versions can be found at the right of the page. If you have questions about the grading, please look at the solutions first. If your still not satisfy, please bring me (Dr. Loveless) your exam within the next week with a short explanation of why you believe you deserve more points.

- Announced 1/18/2006: Exam 1 is Thursday, January 26 in quiz section. Here are some studying tips:
- Announced 1/2/2006: Welcome to Math 120.
Your first task is to get the textbook at Professional Copy 'n' Print at 4200 Univesity Way NE (One block South of the bookstore).
Then you need to print off a homework schedule. This is a tentative schedule, any changes will be announced in lecture. See you all in class.
- Announced 1/1/2006: In order to begin the quarter with a lecture
instead of a quiz section, there will be no class on Tuesday, January 3.
Math 112 will begin on Wednesday, January 4. See you then!
