- Here are 12 more integrals to practice (solutions are included). I notice that I have an error in my solution to 12 (The A and C are wrong), but rather than fix the error, I'll leave it and see if you can figure out where the error is and do the problem correctly.
- Here are 7 basic practice problems and 5 challenge problems concerning integration by parts along with full worked out solutions to the first seven and solutions to the 5 challenge problems. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE attempt these integrals for practice! Even if you feel comfortable with by parts, you still need to practice so that these calculations become routine.

- Here are 24 integrals that should all be quick and easy for you before exam 1. And here are the solutions (although you shouldn't need them because you should know how to check your work).

- A review of Chapter 5 (pdf): This review sheet is a little ahead of schedule, but you should find it useful as you work through the homework in Chapter 5.

Announced 1/9/2013: I will post several review sheets throughout the term, so check back frequently. Here is my first group of postings (they can also be found at the lower right part of this page):
- Here is a summary of the steps in constructing a Riemann sum (You may want to bring this to class).
- List of Basic Antiderivatives: This is the overhead from the 4.9 Lecture. Currently, our only integration techinique is to simplify the function algebraically into a sum of functions in this table. With our current methods, we can only find antiderivatives of sums and constant multiples of functions that look EXACTLY like the functions in this table.
- Riemann Sums (pdf): This is a copy of a couple of the overheads from my 5.1 lecture concerning approximating rectangles. In addition, it includes most of the solution to problem 5.1/24 on the second page.
- Calculus I Review (pdf): Contains a table of the basic derivatives, the basic derivative applications, and finishes with a review of trig and algebra (you received a copy if you attended Thursday's quiz section).
Announced 1/4/2013: Welcome to Math 125. This webpage contains the course syllabus, the homework schedule, a course calendar and links to Math 125 material. Throughout the quarter I will be posting numerous review sheets and announcements. Please check back regularly.
Some notes about the first week of the quarter:
- Tuesday you will have a derivatives quiz to brush up on your derivatives.
- You will complete a worksheet in quiz section on Thursday of this week. You are responsible for bringing a copy of the worksheet (For this week, get the "Area" worksheet which is part of week 1) to quiz section. See the Math 125 materials website link on the right-hand sidebar for this and all subsequent worksheets (or go to my calendar). Worksheets count toward the "Participation" portion of your grade.
- For most question, you are allowed 5 attempts at each answer in Webassign (except for T/F and multiple choice questions, for which you are allowed one try).
- Please log-in to webassign as soon as possible in the first week of class, so that you can add yourself to the class roster.
