I may not list all homework due dates here, as homework is due essentially at every class. I will try to include all other important dates.
Monday, 10/4: HW 1 and Initial Reflection Paper due.
Wednesday, 10/6: HW 2 due.
Monday, 10/11: HW 3 due. (From now on, assume homework due every class,
I won't post due dates here again.)
Week of October 11: In class, sign lists to indicate
(1) your choice of project, and (2) your permission to change the
final exam date to Monday, Dec. 13, 4:30-6:20. (This is the exam time for
classes that meet MW starting at 4:30, so you should not have a conflict.)
Week of October 18: If tutoring for the project, you should be
in the school and actually tutoring by this week.
Wednesday, 10/27: Quiz on subtracting in another base.
Week of November 1: If tutoring, turn in journal so far this week.
If you haven't done three tutoring sessions yet, email me saying when you
will have done so, and turn your journal in then.
Wednesday, 11/3: (Midterm postponed one week.)
Wednesday, 11/10: MIDTERM.
Friday, 11/12, 9 AM: Boaler Reflection Paper due.
Wednesday, 11/17: If doing optional portfolio, turn in what you have
done so far directly to me. It doesn't have to have the cover and table of
contents, but do fasten the pages together with a clip or folder,
and be sure your name is on the front.
(This is a check to make sure you are on the right track.)
Wednesday, 11/24: No class because it's Thanksgiving Eve.
Wednesday, 12/1: Project Final Reports due.
Monday, 12/6: (Optional) Portfolios due.
Wednesday, 12/8: Last day of (our) class.
(All classes end by 12/10).
SUNDAY, 12/12, 4-6 PM, Savery Hall 136, study session (may use for
one class makeup).
Monday, 12/13, 4:30-6:20: Final Exam date and time (CONFIRMED).
