Topics covered: The material we've studied in Chapter 5, and in Chapter 6 through §74. That is, most of Homework 6 and all of Homeworks 7 and 8. Sample quiz questions, also some remarks on how much you need to justify answers. Here are answers and some solutions: I typed this in a bit of a rush, so please let me know ASAP if you think there's an error, and I'll revise the solutions if needed (and note here that this has been done). Typo: in #3, f(0) = -9/2, not -2/9.
You may bring a sheet of notes. Do bring paper. There will not be room on the quiz for your work. Leave space between problems, or start a new page for each problem, and put the pages in order before handing them in.
Most of the "General information, rules for notes, etc." listed on the Midterm information page still apply.
