Class schedule, Math 428, Winter 2013

For the first three weeks or so, we will pick up several skipped topics from chapters 2 and 6 and finish chapter 7, in the following order:
- Chapter 6, §75.
- Chapter 2, §§27-28 (which need a theorem from §75).
- Revised order: Chapter 7, §§82-84, then Chapter 6, §77, then Chapter 7, §§86-89.
Then we'll spend about four weeks on chapters 8-10: conformal mapping and basic applications. The rest of the quarter we'll look at more specialized topics in conformal mapping (end of chapter 10 and chapters 11-12) and/or other topics to be determined.
