I do not manage enrollment for this class. If you have questions or issues related to enrollment, please see the Math Advising Office at Padelford C-36.
Homework Homework is assigned on Mondays and due the following Monday.
Quizzes There will be two quizzes: one on April 11 and one on May 9. You will be split into ten groups. Each group will turn in a single quiz. No books or other aids are allowed.
Midterm exams There will be two midterm exams: one on April 25 and one on May 23. Exam one covers systems of linear ordinary differential equations. Exam two covers Fourier series and the heat equation. A single 8 x 11 sheet of notes is the only aid allowed. You will be required to have a photo ID for the exams.
Final exam The final exam will take place June 9 8:30-10:20 in Loew Hall 205. The final exam is cumulative. A single 8 x 11 sheet of notes is the only aid allowed. You will be required to have a photo ID for the final exam.
Grades Your grades will be based on a system of 500 points: homework is worth 70, quizzes are worth 80, midterm exams are worth 200, and the final exam is worth 150.
