The textbook is Calculus, by Stewart, or Multivariable Calculus, by Stewart seventh edition.

Homework is collected on Fridays. You should start it early, to be sure to have the chance to ask questions.
Beware that the homework on the calendar can change (up to a week before its due day), make sure you check for changes. Also the math servers are not always reliable so make sure to save an offline version.

Homework should be neat and easy to understand. You should show all the work in order to get a full score. Unstapled homework solutions will NOT be accepted. Late homework will NOT be accepted. The weekly homework will be posted in the Homework section of the class website.

There will be three quizzes, one midterm, and a two part final. There are all during class time. The specific dates of the exams can be found in the class Calendar.

For quizzes and exams you are allowed to bring a scientific calculator (NOT a graphic one), and a two-sided handwritten sheet of notes.

There are no make-up exams/quizzes. If you have a compelling, unavoidable, and well-documented reason for missing an exam, talk with me as soon as possible.

Attendance is very important for this class. If you miss a day of lecture it is your responsibility to catch up with the material. There is no guarantee that the topic missed will be covered again during lectures.
