Personal
I was born in Torino, Italy, 26 years ago. There I did my undergraduate studies and my Master's, at the University of Torino, under the aegis of Andrea Mori. My Master thesis was titled Dominii Fondamentali per le Curve di Shimura e Forme Automorfe (Fundamental Domains for Shimura Curves and Automorphic Forms). In September 2007 I started my PhD at the University of Washington.
Research
My interest is currently in Algebraic Geometry. My patient advisor is Sándor Kovács.
Teaching
This quarter I'm the instructor of Math 324. For a list of past teaching experiences, click here.
A Mathematician's Lament, by Paul Lockhart.
Talks
In May '07, I gave a talk for the MeRiMa (Research Group in Mathematics and Bio-Medicine, the website is in italian), in which I proposed a new model for the fading of radioactivity in patient under radiation therapy. The title of the talk was Un modello predittivo per la scomparsa della radioattività (A predictive model for the fading of radioactivity). Here is the abstract (in italian).
