ABSTRACT
|
|
Multiview geometry is the study of planar images of points in 3-space, an essential basis for computer vision. We will describe the algebraic objects in this field using a variety of tools, especially combinatorics. Our results give an explicit presentation of the multiview ideal associated to a fixed set of cameras, an explicit universal Groebner basis for this ideal, and a parameter space for all multiview ideals that helps understand them as the camera configurations move.
