ABSTRACT

Hitherto most applications of the RSK correspondence have focussed on just one of the two tableaux attached to a permutation, usually the inserting or P-tableau, which is constructed independently of the other one. I will describe an RSK correspondence from involutions in hyperoctahedral groups to pairs of tableaux of the same shape (one domino and one signed) for which both tableaux yield important representation-theoretic information and are constructed interactively.
