Grading
There will be two midterms,
one final exam, homework assignments, worksheets and quizzes. The midterms are
25% each, the final is 30%, the homework assignments 10%, the worksheets 5% and
the quizzes are 5% of your total grade. Late homework is not accepted. There
are no make ups for quizzes or worksheets.
Calculator
Policy
On the exams and the quizzes
you can use a scientific calculator. It should be non-graphing and not
programmable. It should not have any calculus capabilities. Check for buttons
with d/dx and the integral sign. Those are not acceptable. I suggest you use
the same calculator when you do your homework assignments.
Week at a
glance

and bring your worksheets to Tuesday sections. There will also be quizzes on
most Tuesdays. Thursday sections are for problem discussions, mostly related to
your homework assignments. You should go to Thursday sections prepared to ask
