I will submit the grades on 20 August. You should be able to see your grade on MyUW no more than a week later. Please do not email me to complain about your grade. I have spent a great deal of time on them and I am as certain as I can be that they are accurate. If you would like to look at your final exam, send me an email during Fall quarter. I will be out of town until then. For those people who are interested in such things, a few statistics follow.

The final exam will be given in two parts on 16 and 17 August. You can find some old final exams here. You may use a single sheet of hand-written notes (both sides) on the exam. Calculators are not allowed. (You read that right, but let me repeat it just so that there is no chance of confusion.) Calculators (of any kind) are not allowed on the final exam. Cheating is not allowed either.
At some point during the week of 6-10 August, we will begin reviewing for the final exam in lecture. We will start by going over together the exam from Winter 2003. Please print a copy and bring it to class.
The midterm is on Thursday 19 July. Start studying now! You can find some old midterms here. Keep in mind that we will have covered more material than the material covered in most of these exams. So these shouldn't be your only study source. You may use a single sheet of hand-written notes (both sides) and a scientific calculator on the exam. Graphing calculators are not allowed.
