Text: Elementary Differential Equations and Boundary Value Problems (8th edition), by Boyce and DiPrima. We will cover (most of) Chapters 1, 2, 3, and 6.

Exams, Homework, Grades: There will be two midterm exams and a final exam. The First Midterm will be Friday, January 26, covering the material on the first three homework assignments. The Second Midterm will be Friday, February 23, covering Chapter 3. The Final Exam will be Wednesday, March 14, 8:30-10:20 a.m. You can bring a page of notes and a non-graphing calculator, but not a graphic calculator, to each exam. (You won't really need a calculator at all.)

There will also be weekly homework assignments, which will be posted here. Course grades will be computed on the following basis: Homework 10%, Midterms 25% each, Final exam 40%.
