| Title | Workshop for applying for NSF Graduate Research Fellowships |
| Date | October 27, 4:00pm PDL C-36 |
|
The NSF will be funding 2,000 Graduate Research Fellowships next year, in all sciences.
First and second year graduate students (as well as graduating undergraduates) who are US citizens
or Permanent Residents are eligible, and are strongly encouraged to consider applying. These
fellowships provide three years of generous support with no duties, and are terrific things
for all sorts of reasons.
The GPC Douglas Lind will be running a workshop on applying for these fellowships at the date and
time above. A current fellow Cris Negron will also be there to share his experiences in applying.
The intention is to help our students make the strongest applications possible, and with luck
we can continue the successes of last year.
