      Midterms:  There are two midterm tests and both would be taken in class. 

·        Midterm 1: Friday, January 30, 2009, 11:30—12:20, CHL 015, cover Chapter 1: sections 1—9.

Important

 

  1. Make ups are permitted only under very exceptional circumstances.
  2. Late homework will not be accepted, but the lowest homework grade will be dropped.
  3. Feel free to work with other students on your homework, but you must write the solutions yourself.
  4. Grader will grad some arbitrarily selected problems out of each assignment carefully, and check the completeness of the remaining problems.
  5. A piece of note (8.5×11 inches, letter sized, two sided) will be allowed on the midterm and the final, but calculator is NOT allowed.
