Research Interests: I am interested in mathematically oriented research in the environment or renewable energy. Very soon, this will mean working on problems (and inverse problems) in plasma physics for applications in magnetically confined fusion. So far, my research has been focused on (theoretical aspects of) inverse problems in medical imaging. Here, boundary measurements of a domain are made in an attempt to identify material properties inside the domain. Mathematically, this has been an application of partial differential equations, functional analysis, and differential geometry. I am also interested in statistical estimation and optimization.

Academic: Papers and Preprints , my CV

Teaching:

Past Courses: Math 307 A/B, Fall 2006

Current Courses: I'm a Teaching Assistant for Math 126

I've elaborated on a common theory of task learning that I think is helpful for any student to understand.

Outside of the university:

I'm into Salsa dancing, and my favorite day/place to dance is Thursday and Saturday at Century Ballroom. Good salsa classes are available from Salsa Salvaje and MamboU.

Moving Sale!!, I'm moving in April and trying to sell my furniture and rent out my apartment. Note: The apartment has been rented out.

I'm also selling my 1994 Toyota Corolla for $3000. Note: The car has been sold

Here are some quotes that I like.
