  I'm currently Taing Math 126 BB and BC for Professor Solomyak. His course website can be found here.

  My office hours are Monday 12h30-1h30 & 2h30-3h30 at the MSC. Other hours can be arranged if necessary. Just e-mail me or talk to me after class.

  I'm studying algebraic methods for combinatorial optimization and semidefinite programming with professor Rekha Thomas. I'm also part of the FRG on semidefinite optimization and convex algebraic geometry .

• Background

  I come from Portugal where I did my undergraduate studies and Master's at the Department of mathematics of the University of Coimbra. Since Fall 2006 I've been doing my PhD at the UW.
