Textbook
The UW Math department uses a custom edition of Elementary Differential Equations and Boundary Value Problems by Boyce and DiPrima.
We will cover chapters 7, 9, and 10 from this book.
You may either buy the custom edition available at the UW Bookstore, or you may use any recent edition (7th+ is fine) of the standard book.
The edition doesn't matter much for the course readings.
However, the problem numbers may change, so if you use an older edition, check with a friend or at the library to make sure you do the right homework problems.
Office Hours
Office hours will be Tuesday and Wednesday, 11:00-12:00.
They will be held in the math department lounge in Padelford Hall.
If neither of these times works for you, please email me.
I may be able to add an additional office hour.
