Hello, I am a graduate student at the University of Washington and you’ve found my home page.  Below and in the links above you’ll find some info on me and what I’m currently up to.

Aside from two years spent in Puerto Rico, I grew up in Virginia Beach, VA.  After high school I worked as a DJ in various local clubs and as an engineer in several music studios but soon decided to change directions.

I did my undergrad at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville.  During undergrad I worked part time as a bus driver for the University Transit Service.  After graduating I stuck around Charlottesville for about a year and a half working as a dispatcher for UTS; I helped setup and then maintained the GPS system they use to track on-time performance and predict arrival times.

As an undergrad I did research at the Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge under the direction of Robert Perlis.  I left UTS and Charlottesville to become a graduate student at the University of Washington in Seattle.  When I’m not doing math I enjoy slacklining, snowboarding, and sour beers (especially if they come from Russian River).
