Math 307A • Spring Quarter 2013
You may attend any of the following office hours in the MSC (Math Study Center), CMU B-014. Look for the room immediately to the right of the reception desk when you walk in to the MSC.
Note: the MSC does NOT support MATH 307. You are not allowed to talk to the normal MSC tutors about 307, like you could in calculus. (For a similar experience that does work for 307, you should go to CLUE instead. There is a link under the "Help" tab.) Of course, you are certainly allowed to use the special 307 room for help with 307; you just aren't supposed to talk to anyone who's actually employed by the MSC. The MSC is very generously allowing us to use this space for joint office hours, so be courteous: clean up after yourself and don't get in the way of the calculus! Otherwise we might lose our space there, and that would be sad.
Anyway, please come to the office hours and have fun! We all are happy to help. If it's especially busy in the 307 room, you might get help more quickly by talking to your classmates. So come prepared to work together.
Sometimes we will need to change our office hours, and in that case we will post a note on this Catalyst board. So you should check the board before you go.
If you want to confirm the hours with someone, just find his or her contact information on the math department web site. Use the faculty page for Mary, and the grad student page for everyone else.
