Geometry, analysis, and information theory
That there are deep connections between geometry, analysis, and information
theory has been known since the work of Brascamp-Lieb and Cover-Dembo-Thomas.
The talk will discuss recent developments, including a dictionary between
information theory and L2 Brunn-Minkowski theory and
a geometric version of the Cramer-Rao inequality.
