General location

The University of Washington is located in northeast Seattle, just north of the Ship Canal and east of Interstate 5.

The University District

The main campus (indicated by the mortarboard logo above) is bounded on the west by 15th Avenue NE, on the east by 25th Avenue/Montlake Boulevard, on the north by NE 45th Street, and on the south by NE Pacific Street.
