Where to Stay in Vancouver

Unfortunately, there is a large conference on academic freedom taking place on the same weekend as the Pacific Northwest Geometry Seminar, so all rooms on campus are booked. As there may be some cancellations, it would not be a bad idea to at least try to get a room at the Gage Conference Center (604-822-1010). Failing that, you should make a reservation as soon as possible. The conference organizers recommend checking out a bed and breakfast. Also there is limited space at the home of a UBC Math Department member, who has offered to share his apartment. Contact the conference organizers (Jim Carrell or David Austin) for information.
