Alex Vaschillo



Alex is a 2nd year biochemistry major at the University of Washington, but has spent almost seven years studying advanced topics in mathematics at the Northwest Academy of Sciences in Kirkland. He has studied mathematics at several locations, including Stanford University, St. Petersburg State University in Russia, and the University of Washington. Alex has also been a chess coach for over a year and leads several chess clubs at elementary schools on the Eastside and has worked as a math and chemistry tutor for three years. Alex is very excited to bring his knowledge in mathematics and his teaching experience to the excited students of the UW Math Circle!

Interests and Hobbies: Math, chemistry, chess, soccer, debate, swimming, hiking, and biking.
