The American Mathematical Society publication ``Assistantships and
Graduate Fellowships in the Mathematical Sciences''is updated in November each year and lists graduate
assistantships and graduate fellowships in the mathematical sciences
(mathematics, applied mathematics, statistics, computer science).
Refer to this publication (in the Math Library). Write to schools and request information about their programs
and their level of financial support for graduate students. Talk with
faculty members and with any friends or relatives who are presently
attending graduate school. Also, there is a comprehensive list of other graduate programs available just outside the Math Advising Office, C-36 Padelford. Another obvious resource is websites. Our address is www.math.washington.edu.
