Final

The Final Exam will be given in two parts: Part 1 on Thursday and Part 2 on Friday. Here are descriptions of what each part will be like:

Part 1

  • Covers Worksheets 18-23 (note: I am not going to ask questions specifically dealing with Worksheet 17 in this part, but you will need to know that material since some of those concepts are used in the later worksheets)
  • There will be 3 questions with multiple parts
  • The overall feel for this part of the Final Exam should be that of a regular midterm
  • It will be worth 50 points

Part 2

  • Covers Worksheets 1-17
  • There will be a total of 20 questions worth 2 points each (for a total of 40 points; I will scale the total so that it is out of 50). Most of the questions will require little or no work to be shown so partial credit will be very limitted.
  • Rather than try to explain what kinds of questions you should be prepared for, I will post a list of sample problems later this week. (They will be posted below.)
