Math 336, Accelerated (Honors) Advanced Calculus, Spring, 1997

This is the Math 336 homepage. Consult it from time to time to find useful information for the course. I will include links to the syllabus and other course information.

The following are links to current course information.

  1. (6/6/97) Sample problems for the final exam.
  2. (5/14/97) The homework assignment due on May 20 is misprinted. The first three hw sections should be 8.2, 8.3, 8.4. Section 8.8 is the next section for which there is homework.
  3. (4/7/97) The term paper will be due on Wednesday, June 4, 1997. I will hand out suggested papers to review and I will suggest other sources. The review should consist of an exposition of the results of the paper and some worked examples to show how the results might be applied. It should be about about three or four typed pages. It could be longer, but should not be shorter.
  4. (4/7/97) Syllabus(dvi)
  5. (4/7/96) Math 424 homepage Most of the 424 links are to references that are beyond the current level of difficulty of 336. The link to constants has some material that you could profitably read now.
