• Review Problems (1/7/08) Note, this is from a previous quarter, so ignore the instructions. In particular, you will not be tested on this material, but the problems will be due with the first homework assignment on Wednesday, January 16. Also, you only need to turn in half of the integral problems on the last page.

• 4/2/08: For those of you who would like to pick up your final, I will be in my office Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10:30 - 11:25 for the first two weeks of the quarter. If those times don't work for you, you can email me to set up another time. I hope everyone's quarter is off to a good start!
• 3/25/08: I have updated the grade record with the final exam scores and the final course grades. I also posted statistics for the final exam on the exam page. I may also post solutions eventually, but I haven't written them yet. I will not be in my office much over spring break, but you can pick up your final next quarter if you want. I will post an announcement here to let you know when I'll be available.
• 3/19/08: I have posted the grade record so that you can check that I have recorded your scores accurately. Please alert me as soon as possible if there is an error. I am working on grading the finals and will let you know when I finish.

• 2/24/08: I will be holding a review session on Monday 2/25 from 5pm - 7pm in Smith 102. In lecture tomorrow, I plan to go over problem 5 from the Winter 2001 Exam 2, so you may want to print it out ahead of time. All three quizzes and their solutions are now posted on the exam page.
• 2/17/08: Correction to homework 5: For problems 19, 20, and 21 in §3.6, do only part (a).
• 2/15/08: I posted solutions to quiz 1 on the exam/quiz page. I also updated the homework page and my office hours for next week.
• 2/13/08: I have updated the exam and quiz page, and have posted some hints for homework 4.
• 2/11/08: The homework for 3.8 is now posted on the homework page. There will be another quiz on Friday, 2/15.
• 2/8/08: Quiz 1 is now posted on the exams & quizzes page. If you did not finish the quiz, try to solve the remaining problems before Monday. Also, the first part of Homework 4 is posted on the homework page. I will briefly discuss problems 38 and 39 from section 3.4 on Monday, since we haven't covered this type of problem in class. If you want to know what topics I am planning to cover in the next few lectures, keep your eye on the lecture page.
• 2/7/08: Solutions to Exam 1 are now posted on the exam page. There will be a quiz in class tomorrow; the best way to prepare is to do your homework.
• 1/22/08: I have posted information about the exams on the exam page and have added a link to the department's exam archive.
• 1/15/08: I posted a couple more hints for Homework 1.
• 1/14/08: I posted some hints for #27 in §2.2 on the homework page.
• 1/11/08: In section G today, I mentioned the rational root theorem as a method of finding the rational roots of a polynomial, if any exist.
• 1/11/08: I added links to some direction field plotters above, and the complete set of problems for Homework 1 is now posted on the homework page. Keep your eye on the website, as I will likely update it further over the weekend.
