- Your grades are listed by the last 4 digits of your student number (in the ID column).
- If any of your scores are incorrect, please bring the graded work to the instructor or TA.
We cannot change any score without seeing the graded assignment.
- Homework scores are out of 10, Activities are out of 20, and Participation scores are out of 2.
- Your lowest homework score and your lowest activity score were dropped when computing the final grades.
- Exam I is out of 61, Exam 2 is out of 56, and each part of the Final Exam is out of 60.
- Because of a slightly low median and somewhat anomalous scores on part 2 of the final, I added 3 points to everyone's final exam score when I computed the grades. (The 3 points have been incorporated into the final course grades listed in the "Grade" column below, but have NOT been added onto the test scores shown in the "Final1" or "Final2" columns - these columns still show your raw scores.) This is the only "curving" that was done when computing the grades.
- The breakdown of the grades is
- Homework - 10%
- Activities - 10%
- Participation - 2%
- Exam I - 21%
- Exam II - 21%
- Final - 36%
- To convert overall percentages into grades, I used the following
grading scale, which is the same one used in Dr. Jenni Taggart's Math 112 classes.
