You can now check your grades in Catalyst (first, read the FAQs below):
Catalyst Gradebook for Section A (10:30 lecture)
Catalyst Gradebook for Section B (11:30 lecture)

GRADING FAQs -- PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!
1) All of your scores are shown in your record, including those that were dropped from your grade computation. Catalyst Gradebook does not allow me to indicate which scores were dropped.
However, be assured that  your lowest non-blank
hwk, activity and participation scores were dropped when computing your Total Score.
2) Blanks indicate assignments that were excused and did not affect your grade.

3)
Your Total Score (overall class percentage) was computed according to the grade breakdown listed in the
syllabus, after dropping the lowest hwk, activity and participation scores.
4) The conversion of your Total Score to a grade point was done according to the posted "
Grading scale". A few grade points ended up better than in the grading scale, but mostly the class performance was very good, so not much "curving" was needed.
5) You can pick up your final exam at my office hours during the Spring quarter.
1:30-2:30pm on Mondays & 2-3pm on Wednesdays (or by appointment)
I'll need to know your class (Math 112) and quiz section (AA, BD, etc). If you wish to keep your final exam, you're welcome to do so, but you should go over it carefully before leaving my office, because I do not accept later re-grade requests.

Have a good Spring Break!

You can check your scores, and your estimated grade so far via the links on the left sidebar.

Please read this carefully first:

      *  If any of your scores is recorded incorrectly, please bring that assignment to your TA and ask him to correct your score.

      * Blanks correspond to either excused assignments, or to scores not yet entered in the sheet. Blanks are not included in the grade computation.

      *  The lowest non-blank homework, activity, and participation scores were dropped from the grade computation, even though they are posted (all scores are posted).

      * If you missed the midterm for an excused reason (your score shows as a blank), ignore your posted % and grade, since they will be artificially low due to the missing midterm score. You will have to wait until after the 2nd midterm to get a reasonable grade estimate.
