    I weighed your midterm score more heavily, to match the weight of all the exams at the end of term.
  4. KEEP IN MIND: This is an approximate grade, and only about 1/3 of your grade is set so far!
    You can greatly improve (or lower) your grade by your performance in the remaining exams and assignments. 
  5. This grade estimate is computed on a straight scale, as listed in the syllabus, based on your overall % so far.
    I may adjust the grades at the end of term, depending on the class performance.  
    I expect the median to be between 2.7 and 3.1. The current class median is 3.1.
