Twenty-five teachers gathered for the annual NWMI Alumni Reunion Workshop.

Philip Mallinson challenged the group to rethink the concept of regular polygon. (The secret word is flag-regular). Later he showed us the secret geometryand origami of that European A4 paper.
Brian Hopkins led the group through a hands-on approach to graph theory.
Rob Judson showed us how to make origami cubeoctahedra. What's better, he talked about the geometry and even used Sketchpad to draw the origami units.
Carol Haid and Kyla Gellerson led the construction of some cool straw polyhedra based on tensegrity structures.
Rachel Harrington presented ingenious ideas for celebrating that important holiday Pi Day (3.14).
Saturday evening was the time for a very stimulating session of sharing by alumni. Here George Thornton talks about work with his students on fractals.
The BIG geometry project this year was the construction of BIG origami boxes, organized superbly by Ronda and Will Webber.
The person responsible for organizing the whole super weekend was Karen Hall.
