I am currently at the University of Washington pursuing a degree in mathematics. I am studying number theory, specifically questions related to the BSD Conjecture.
While I was getting my BS at Brigham Young University I worked at the Internet Security Research Lab. One of the things worked on there Hidden Credentials. Two papers we wrote can be found here and here.
I also have extensive computing experience. I was a freelance developer at Rent a Coder for a while, mostly using java and php. Lately, I have done a lot of work on SAGE. I am also a lead developer for Cython. My platform of choice is Mac OS X. Some random (and mostly very old) applets can be found here.
