About

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable,  if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. -- St. Paul

Photograph of Stephen looking nerdy. Hello, and welcome to my page! I am a first-year graduate student in the mathematics department here at the University of Washington. As yet, I have no fixed focus in mathematics, but am enjoying taking various first- and second-year courses.

I am a TA, and this quarter (spring 2011) am TAing two great sections of Math 125, which is calculus II, for Prof. Krysztof Burdzy. A great resource for this course, or for any of UW's calculus courses, is the website of Dr. Andy Loveless.

My office hours this quarter are as follows:

Monday, 2:30 - 3:30 in the Math Study Center (Communications building)
Tuesday, 3:30 - 4:30 in PDL-C8H

Feel free to contact me by email at smckeown at math dot washington etc. My office, as you might infer from the above, is PDL-C8H in Padelford Hall.

For more information, see "About Me." Have a good day!
