COURSE DESCRIPTION:
The 3-quarter sequence Math 524/525/526 is one of the core graduate courses. In these three courses students are expected to
learn the fundamental tools needed to work in the general field of analysis. The sequence includes: Measure and Integration,
and Elements of Functional Analysis, including Hilbert and Banach spaces and compact operators, and Elements of Fourier
Analysis and Distribution Theory. See syllabus for more details.
