This course is the continuation of Math 524 and Math 525.
This quarter, I expect to cover the following subjects:
1. Functional analysis: [F] Ch 5, includes additional elements from Hilbert spaces [SS] Ch 4 (sections 5 an 6).
2. $L^p$ spaces: [F] Ch 6.
3. Radon Measures: [F] Ch 7.
4. Elements of Fourier Analysis: [F] Ch 8, [SS] Ch 5.

GRADING POLICY: The grades will be determined on the basis of the following percentages: Homework 50%. Prelim format final 50%. There will be weekly homework due on Wednesdays at the beginning of class.
